I think a 14 night cruise on Arvia including speciality diners every night and drinks for just over £7000 per cabin in a full suite is very exceptional. I can't find anything like that at present.

Really?  First one I looked at - K420 - only 13 nights, but 6198 select price with £440 OBC which would pretty much cover the specialist dining, so would come in well under £7K if approx £500 was budgeted for drinks, which will be more than sufficient for many traveller.

Your tactic of using speciality restaurants ensures P&O is a sure winner.

Our last Royal Caribbean cruise was January 2023 on Oasis of the seas out of Miami and I booked the 7 night ultimate dining package.

The food in

Chops Grill.

Giovanni's

150 Central park

was excellent but twice the price of P&O.

And I know you frequented the higher-end, higher-cost speciality dining on P&O (Epicurean, Limelight, Sindhu).  But specialist dining every night on Arvia and Iona can be done for a very low cost if you mix those up with Olive Grove and Sixth St which are free and Beach House, Keel and Cow and Glasshouse where its eminently possible to get fantastic food for £10-15 pp. Hence, on our last cruise on Arvia / Iona (I forget which one was our most recent!) we never went near the MDR and we won't when we cruise on these ships again.

During my thread on Arvia I said we ate 3 times in the Beach house as well as 6 times in Epicurean,4 times in Sindhu and once in The Limelight club where we saw Joe McEldery the 2009 X factor winner.

I had the lava block steak every night in the Beach house.

This was booked in March  2022 for £6300 on launch, speciality dining in end cost £750 , OBC covered most of drinks.

The comparisons were to Cruises booked at roughly same time with the other lines.

Prices may/will have gone up since then on all lines. However it's only fair to compare launch prices , as suites are so popular dynamic pricing means they very often go up after launch by quite a bit
