Seascape YC

Hi all, doing a B2B in YC on seascape from the 13th of July and was wondering if you can use the YC benefit in Grand Cayman in regards to the queues for tenders? Watched a YouTube video last night and the queue looked horrendous.

Fair to say if that's the only question I have left at this late stage everything else has been answered already 😂

YC passengers get priority service for about anything, including tenders. Grand Cayman provides their own tenders that are open air and much lager than your typical cruise ship tender, so theu can move a lot of people.

Two possible issues, 1) the lines for return tenders maybe long (not sure about YC priority), and 2) the weather in Grand Cayman can cause this port to be canceled. I think it is the most canceled port in the Caribbean (not sure, but weather can be a big problem here; the wind mainly).

One time at Grand Cayman the swells at Georgetown were to great to tender, so our ship (I think it was Carnival Pride) and Coral Princess went around to the south side and tendered to Spotts Beach.  The local tenders came around, too.  When we were all back onboard we could see the tenders heading back to Georgetown.  EM

We've done Grand Cayman multiple times with the Yacht Club and each time, we got priority tender in both directions. If you are returning early, you won't need priority since there won't be many people. If returning later when everyone else is also returning, either go to the Yacht Club line or walk to the front of the line. A MSC officer will be at the front of the line and if asked, just show that you are a Yacht Club guest.
