What time will my airport transfer be in Bergen??

Arriving in Bergen and the next morning off the ship using Viking transfer to the airport. Flight is around 8 am. What time will Viking select as my transfer time??

It will be early! I have flown out of Bergen after a Viking cruise to Copenhagen for a connection back to the US. We left the ship sometime around 5 or slightly earlier; I don’t remember the actual time.

Really early!!   Trying to remember but maybe 4 AM to 5 AM - definitely not later.  You'll be herded with a large group no doubt that go early.  My guess is that if they have people with 7 and 7:30 flights, you'll probably leave at 4 AM which means getting up REALLY early.  That is the problem using Viking Air out of Bergen.  Good luck!

We transferred from our Bergen hotel with Viking, leaving at 7am for a 10:40am flight. Viking likes to get guests to the airport 2.5-3 hours before the flight.

With Viking transfers, I always figure three hours plus travel time.

 

The latest transfer time one can expect is before 10 am (and on some itineraries 9:30 am) as Viking likes to have departing guests off the ship before they start board arriving guests.

 

NOTE: If your itinerary is not overnighting in port and you are not doing Viking Air, there will be a note on your Viking Guest Statement giving the earliest time you should book your departing flight. If you book earlier than that time there is no guarantee that you will make your flight.

We are just off Venus in Bergen. My brother and his wife had a 7:00 am flight. They had to be up at 2:00 am, on a bus at 3:00. We opted for another night at a hotel so we didn't have to do the 27 hour thing to the US West Coast.
