Can OBC from my travel agent be used in the Casino?

I received $1,500 of OBC from TA for booking star class on Harmony. I was paranoid based on past posts about cashing out straight via slot machine without cycling through at least 50% of the room charge.  So I would typically room charge/download $100 at a time to a machine and, if I was playing $5 a spin for example, I would make sure I played at least 11 spins and then would cash out whatever was left---once it was over $2,000-so I was fine with my strategy!  Probably did this 6-7 times throughout the week and never had any issues.

To be clear, I did have to interrupt my strategy to get paid the $2,000 as it was a hand pay, but you get the point.

That should not be an issue as that is usually refundable OBC.

Travel agent OBC, not pass-through from RCI, is typically refundable.  Refundable can be cashed out at guest services or go back to the card on your onboard account.

I think you are absolutely right as when I reviewed my bill near end of cruise I did notice that it was listed as refundable, oh well no harm - worked out fine for me with the jackpot in any event.
