arizonaperson Posted July 13 #26 Share Posted July 13 For those talking about medallion accessories -a pocket or a purse works just fine too. You don’t have to display your medallion. Before the medallion when you had a cruise card, what did you do with that? Did you hang it around your neck with one of the lanyards? I never did ,so I guess that’s why I don’t see what the fuss is about all the accessories . sure if I had a lot of onboard credit which I don’t usually ,maybe I would think about buying one of the accessories once onboard, but I doubt it. I like my normal jewelry. But that’s why there’s choices..
happy42cruise Posted July 14 #27 Share Posted July 14 I find the lanyard bothers my neck so I bought stretchy wristbands for my hubby & I from Amazon. He doesn't take his off at all, even showers with it but I take mine off while in our cabin. We've used them for at least 2 cruises so far. The medallion pops into the back so it's very secure. Very comfortable & easy to use for ordering from waiters, opening the door & for the casino.

It hasn’t delayed us as far as I know in getting on the ship. All medallion accessories that you see are also available on the ship to buy. I actually waited to buy on the ship as mine came in 2 sizes and I wanted to try on first. Things may have changed as we were recently able to order our medallions for delivery to our home in Toronto.

Very convenient and lowers the chance that I will lose the medallion.
Kay S Posted July 14 #30 Share Posted July 14 I bought one of the little clips that I attach to my purse strap. Works fine.
