Coxen Hole Things to do

Last 2 times we went right from Mahogany Bay to the West End and spent the day.  Assume time out there but thinking of doing something different when we get into Mahogany Bay.  Looking to see what there is to do in Coxen Hole?  Not really looking to snorkel or swim really. Just want to see if there are things to do since we haven't been into Coxen Hole.  Is there a Rum distillery there that we could visit?

Cheers!

This is confusing. Are you going to dock at Mahogany Bay or Coxen Hole? What cruiseline are you with?

I can’t imagine anyone docking at Mahogany Bay and going to Coxen Hole.

We are on Carnival, docking at Mahogany Bay.  Been though that port just wondering if its worth getting a cab/bus to Coxen hole and if theres anything to do there

Does anyone know if the pool is open and is there a charge?

it is certainly open. Photos on another thread. I think you have to purchase a drink, maybe food? Not sure if there is a minimum charge.

If you want to spend the day at a beach, it seems the thing to do is take a taxi to West Bay beach area and rent lounge chairs at one of the beach clubs. Expect US prices and it can get very crowded if there are several ships in port. Certainly seems better than wandering around in the heat at another small town full of tourist shops.
