It would be nice if Viking provided a "Free and Clear" brand.

It IS free of dye and fragrances. If you smell something it’s not added fragrance, just the smell of the ingredients. Personally I don’t smell anything from it. https://www.ecolab.com/offerings/liquid-laundry/laundry-detergent-plus#:~:text=Laundry Detergent Plus is a,Liquid Laundry

I’m not a chemical engineer, although I may play one on this board. I’m sure Viking has chosen one of the least objectionable institutional detergents available, but you can’t please everyone. Rare LindaS272 Posted July 25 #31 Share Posted July 25 I have never noticed any smell from the detergent, and I’m chemically sensitive. I do notice, however, when offenders bring scented dryer sheets and smell up the dryers. 1
NightShayde Posted July 25 #32 Share Posted July 25 We did laundry a few times on our recent cruise. I'm sensitive (not allergic) to many scents, but I couldn't smell the detergent at all.
kkapaldo Posted July 25 #33 Share Posted July 25 I use wool dryer balls at home and toss one in my luggage to use in the laundry room. And I don’t smell anything when washing the clothes.
