Shelly Bay: A concession has opened with food and rentals

At Shelly Bay beach there is now food and beverages and chair rentals. This is a nice beach with calm waters and a playground. Screenshots are from Instagram.

To get to Shelly Bay you can take the ferry to Hamilton and then the #10 or 11 bus. Or you can take a taxi.

Unless you have enough people to fill a van they're not going go to Shelly Bay as it's about an 18 mile drive that will take 45 minutes.
