How to block the lights in the cabin from turning on during the night

Our steward has accommodated this request on several ships.  But we now bring painters tape wrapped around my hairspray bottle and it worked like a charm.  BTW, I can reach the sensor on the light if I stand in the raised doorway of the bathroom but not on the floor directly under the light.

Ours looks exactly like this. The light would randomly blast on in the middle of the night. Electrical tape worked perfectly.

I didn't have any in my Window Suite on the Grand.

Hoping they don’t add the on her April dry dock. We do however have USB’s on the bedside tables which is great

I saw that, nice! I'll be on the Grand again in Jan. in a S7 and on the CB S7 in Jan '26.

We shall see what the CB has then.
