Rare PescadoAmarillo Posted July 29 #1 Share Posted July 29 Has anyone had to travel with serum tears, and, if so, how did you keep them frozen or cold? I searched on Amazon and found lots of insulin coolers but the shape isn’t quite right. These are two tiny eyedropper bottles, about 0.5 ounce each. I thought I’d just go without them for a month but I saw my ophthalmologist last week and he advised against it. I will need to keep them cold for four days, but will start out with them frozen, so that takes care of the first day.
Rare Essiesmom Posted July 29 #2 Share Posted July 29 Have you looked at Frio wallets? I think they are intended for insulin but they come in different sizes. EM
Rare donswife Posted July 30 #3 Share Posted July 30 What about a Yeti tumbler packed with mini ice packs around your eye drops? I know there is also another brand that keeps things cold for a long time, but I forget the name.
Rare PescadoAmarillo Posted August 3 Author #4 Share Posted August 3 Yes, I think either of these would work. Thank you! I am checking with the hotel to verify they have refrigerators in the rooms, and, if they do, I’ll have about 20 hours at the most to keep them cold with ice packs.
