Still not quite getting the hype of that sandwich. It's a good sandwich but not even close to Popeyes or Chick-fil-A. 

 

The Brownie, however, 10/10. I could go for another but I'm going to behave.

There are two types of chicken sandwiches. I forget what they are called. One is much better than the other. If you ask for just "the chicken sandwich" you get the not so good one.

I see just 6 video poker machines and only one of the traditional type. Not ideal but I see a $2 max bet quick hits which I have not seen in a while and some other favorites to play and hopefully strike it rich!

 

Hey there! We'll be on Freedom in a few weeks, and we're video poker players so i'm happy to see your post for a status update! So many ships seem to be removing vp machines so at least there are 6....although that's not a lot on a ship with 4000 people....?!? Can you tell me - if the all-star machines (that play ultimate x) also have single line? You mentioned only one "traditional type" which i assume means the game king single line machine? Recently on another ship we noticed new generation all star machines that also offered single line and some other games. Just curious!! Hope your luck turns!!

Did a little better. Casino's take was rapidly approaching 30% (I consider 10% to be fair). I'm still waiting on a decent hit so I can play on some house money for a while, but I did at least get to play for a while just now with enough small wins to churn out some points. Looking at about an 81% return right now so made a little ground back this afternoon.

 

Cooling off in the room for a few minutes, staring at that nice looking cheese plate which I am determined to save for a late night snack. 

 

Once I am sufficiently cooled off I'll head up to the gym for some walking to heat back up again.

Thanks for reminding me, I forgot to update my first post. Upon further review, these machines all have the option for traditional single line machine. I have never seen the IGT machines with that option so that was a pleasant surprise. These are very nice, new, machines with none of the issues that seem to plague the very old Game King machines. So far this isn't a VP crowd so I have had my pick but I think six is indeed not enough for a ship this size, but at least they are all working properly.

No note but I believe it is the "chef's choice" amenity I get for my loyalty status. Usually it is cookies (from the buffet) or chocolate covered strawberries if the chef is feeling generous. I can't say I have ever been given a cheese plate before.

 

I'll let you know what it is later, I am trying not to study it too hard or I will have to sample it 😋

thanks for the update! We were recently on Rhapsody out of San Juan and saw these new machines for the first time. It's great because my hubby likes to play single line but i love all the multi-game variations so these machines work for us too! We also had our pick of machines all week on Rhapsody, i'd never experienced that before (usually we're fighting for the old broken vp machines stuffed in a corner?!?) so we will love it if they're not too crowded for us either!

Still stuffed in a corner, and on the smoking side, but they are at least all working great and have both a variety of games to choose from. Nice upgrade for sure.
