I want to be outside so I’m going upstairs

I picked the short row in the back. I plan to be standing most of the day.

Yes. That was cool. I saw the eagles and sea otters before I lost communication. I saw more sea otters later. Closer. Steller sea lions, puffin. We saw so many puffin they became uncool. Killer whales. They say they only see them about once a week. We saw them twice today. And they close both times. About 10mins ago two of them swam under our boat. Also saw one humpback whale. Then of course glaciers and some calving.

We’re about here now making our way back.

There was allegedly a mountain goat in this area. I didn’t see it. People would say next to that rock. I’d what what rock. Then they’d proceed to describe every rock out there. I think this is the area but I’m not sure. So if you see a goat let me know.

Chiswell Island. This is where Steller sea lions go to mate and give birth. Stellers are endangered in part because in the 60’s they were seen as a threat to the fishing industry so they were killing thousands of them every year.

Beehive island is loaded with puffin. They come in the summer to lay one egg then after it hatches they go back up to 500 miles out to sea.
