Shark net at Ocean Cay broke?

OK, someone posted this elsewhere & I can find nothing that supports this.

Can anyone confirm, or just a rumor?

A quick google headline search for such has yielded nothing.  Until I see a credible news source report such an event, I will file this in the 'fake news' category.

They are dredging near the pier for the larger ships.Lighthouse beach is closed during the day. It's been going on for a few weeks. Hopefully they are done soon!

There has been a lemon shark at times in the lagoon. I’m not sure if that is the report you saw.

I saw a blog about them closing the lagoon and then it appeared they were trying to get something out of the lagoon, with the net rolled back. Not sure if this is the same incident

everything I have read is that it is the construction work/dredging.  It is poor planning on their part not to have done this while it was closed.  To close this beach while ships are coming in is not fair to the guest as it is the closest beach to the ship.
