Marina/Riviera level 11 rooms

Marina and Riviera: Oceania’s published deck plan is not reliable, so, in your experience, which rooms on level 11 face an elevator lobby, or stair lobby, fore and aft? Thanks.

I would not book 11063 on either Riviera or Marina. We had it on Riviera in 2021 and it was too noisy for my DW as she is a light sleeper. It opens up to the lobby area under Deck 12 so the noise from kitchen staff moving from the TC and Waves throughout the night and early mornings with automatic doors constantly opening and closing really bothered her.
We have been on both ships many times Veranda or PH or OC Suite and have never had any that was unacceptable. Staff made a lot of adjustments to doors and directives to the Kitchen Staff and it became tolerable for the final 16 days of our trip, however the damage was done as far as my DW was concerned. We were on for a total of 46 days on that trip.
Hope this helps but again, it is just our opinion and experience, not necessarily anyone else’s experience.

Deck 11 is all cabins and one Executive Lounge. It is pretty easy to see a plethora of cabins nowhere near any elevators or stairs. The mention above of 11063--right across from the stairs and elevator.

You might study Deck 12 plan to see what you'd prefer to be under. There are cabins forward on Deck 12 and the pool midship and the TC aft.

OK, but I DO want to be near the stairs, elevator, but not opening right onto them. Is there someone who knows specifically which rooms open into the stairs and/or elevator?

Here is a link to the deck plan which shows the specific cabin location in regard to the elevator/stairs - hope this answers your question.  We have stayed in rooms at this location and the placement showing on the deck plan is correct - https://www.oceaniacruises.com/ships/riviera/deck-plans-details?deck=11#nav

Baser, thanks for that. We have stayed on deck 10 several times and while onboard, I’ve carefully compared the actual room locations with the deck plan you linked. That deck plan is wrong/off, regarding the placement of the rooms vs the stairs/elevator, for deck 10. Perhaps, as you say, the deck 11 plan is more accurate.

We were in 11065 on Riviera a year ago and we were very pleased with the cabin and its proximity to elevator/stairs. It didn't open up into the elevator area but just beyond it. We never had an issue with noise.

We have stayed in several rooms round the elevator/stairs on deck 11 on Marina and Riviera and the cabin placement is correct based upon our cabins

We've also found the deck plans for Deck 11 to be correct, at least to the extent that we noticed.

We prefer being forward (forward facing when possible!).

So we have selected the PH suites that are under the Oceania suites, so we are cushioned on all sides and above/below by cabins/suites, and not a pool or restaurant or whatever.  We try to arrange a similar location on any ship, when possible.
