We stopped in and watched them make pewter sand dollars, picked up a couple of necklaces and a Christmas ornament (which they will etch for free): I love Amos Petwer too. I have been collecting the Nativity Scene figurines each time I go to one of their shops. They are so helpful too. Last year, I knew what I wanted to get and I had emailed them before my call in Halifax and they had the order ready and waiting for me when I came in to the shop. I bought other things once I was there too, but it was so nice to be sure they had what I wanted, since I know the figurines can sell out quickly on cruise ship days. Bar Harbor Tea Company will also take orders for pick up if you email them and let them know you're coming. It means you're not disappointed when you get there. 4

Rare Rubyfisch Posted August 27 Author #140 Share Posted August 27 Here is the library, which is lovely. My one complaint is that they have a lot of second or third books in series without seeming to have the first one, but it is still quite nice. I can't remember the last time I read a physical book .... 5
Rare Rubyfisch Posted August 27 Author #141 Share Posted August 27 To my horror, the MDR didn't open until 8 am, so I went to lido. Eggs and potatoes: Fruit and pasty (my favorite part of the lido at breakfast): 5

We're getting quite a collection of wooden tulips). Then it was off the to the evening stretching class, a snack in the lido, and than sailing away. That's the first I've seen of the wooden tulips for trivia prizes. It makes me want to play trivia! ETA: I'm happy to see the tulips aren't just for trivia wins because I have a slim to none chance of winning at trivia!😁 Edited August 27 by Sea42 1

Wooden tulips are super common in Amsterdam as souvenirs. Here is one I won on Volendam: And here are some in Amsterdam from a business trip I was on last fall: 5
