Saint Greg's return to Jubilee - Live - August 24, 2024

Recommended Posts

About 35 minutes for the first plate. I ordered French toast expecting the 12 hour French toast which is the only one on the menu. Maybe you have to be more specific because this is the port day French toast with the 12 hour French toast topping.

As much as I like being on lido deck and this room location, I might look into a lower deck if I ever book this class of ship again. You’re always going 6-16, 7-16, 8-16. It’s a long haul on the stairs. I would like to be less reliant on that elevator. They’ve moved everything late night down to deck 8..other than the movie. I really don’t need to be up here as much as I do on other ships.

We love Lido cabins, but on Excel class we go for deck 10 because of the reason you mentioned.

And the elevators suck.  Last Mardi Gras cruise I mostly used the stairs!

It was a resumption of a suspended game from the night before. Maybe they didn't allow that days ticket holders to come early for the suspended game? Or maybe nobody wanted to show up early?

Funny because we experienced this last night. We had tickets for yesterday's (Thursdays) Somerset Patriots game with a start time of 6:35. Wednesdays game was suspended in the middle of the 4th innings due to a torrential downpour. They moved the balance of that game to Thursday beginning at 4:30, with the scheduled game to follow 35 minutes after the completion of the first game. Thursdays tickets were good for both games. Having nothing better to do we showed up for the first game. There were hardly any fans there. It was so quiet you could hear everything being said on the field. By the time the second game started,  the stands were full. 😎

They’re auctioning off the sea

turtle in honor of the kid who painted The sea turtle painting on the ship. I posted a pic last time so didn’t take one this time. I’ll get it when im back down by p&a.

I had a dining room server say “hey like your in flames shirt” the other day. I hear that kind of stuff all the time but not usually from MDR staff.
