Royal Caribbean Diamond, Borgata MGM rewards question

Recommended Posts

I am diamond in the RCI Crown & Anchor tier system. Can this have any affect on my MGM status at Borgata.? I am only sapphire currently with MGM.

There is some indication that RCI Diamond translates to MGM gold. If so, how do I get this.

thanks for advice

I just did that this morning, as we are headed to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks.  It will get us free parking and a discount on some shows.  It also waives the hotel resort fee but we’re not staying at a MGM property.  Call MGM Rewards with your Rewards number and C&A number and they will do the status match.

It took all of ten minutes to do. You have to renew it every year unless you accumulate enough MGM points for it to carry over to the next year.

We "converted" our C&A Diamond status to MGM Gold last year because we were planning a trip to Las Vegas and wanted to try to get some perks. We stayed at the Park MGM and saved a lot of money. Our room was cheaper, we had free parking, we had food discounts in the restaurant. I know there were more but I can't remember them all. We had friends with us and we were allowed to book two rooms with the program so our friends received all of the benefits that we did. It was well worth the few minutes it took to sign up for the program.

Yes, We are Emerald and every year we update our MGM status to Gold.

You can call MGM Rewards and they can do it over the phone just provide your MGM # and also you C/A # and they process it very quickly, or you can visit the Rewards desk of your favorite MGM casino. We have done both and have had no issues.

Best part of Gold with MGM, no resort fee's and free parking for Las Vegas MGM properties!
