80's Party Questions

Looking forward to a 7-day on the Epic sailing (DR, BVI, USVI...) in November and our group has questions that I don't know the answer to. 

 

• Will there be an 80's party?
• If yes - will it be on an outside deck?
• Is it typically at night?
• Are these parties popular?

the only "Organized" party that I remember ( not been on Epic)  is the Glow Party ( or White Night Party) that was held on the pool deck at night.  They might have an 80's theme music night in the night club.

Not been on Epic for a while, but on my recent NCL Pearl cruise there was an 80s (and a 70s) party on different nights in the Spinnaker, so I would suspect these would be held in the Bliss lounge.

The Cruise Director sets the Dance Parties on a week to week basis and sometimes on a daily basis depending on the weather.

 

Check your Freestyle Daily for daily specific information.

 

No special clothing is required for any of the dance parties.  Most are very loud and begin somewhere around 10:00 P.M. or later.

It is more of the music genre of the night. Not really an 80's dress up night. The weather will determine if the music is up on deck or inside in Headliners. I suspect that it is still out at the Spice H20 (which is very large on the Epic). 

 

The only major event is the Glow Party (formerly the white party) where you can wear white or neon. Go early if you want glow toys.
