Los Angeles Haven check in

Does the port of Los Angeles have a separate Haven security line?

They haven't in the past when we have been there.  I expect that they still do not.  Everyone goes through the same security checkpoint line, then they split up for the various check-in lines for Haven, upper tier Latitudes, Casino at Sea, etc.

Yes, But you have to look for the signs. I always go up to a staffer and ask for the priority line for Haven...it is there and they will guide you to it.

When we did haven out of LA it was an area hard to find and compared to other cruise ports the setup sucked.  It was like a roped off area with folding chairs and some snacks on a table.  Service was good but it was like they put zero effort into making it a premium waiting area. This was in 2017 I think and again in 2019.

We didn’t see one in January, but have seen some posts there is. We walked straight though at around 1030/1045 am and there was a lady at a podium asking for haven guests. Took us to the check in and little waiting area, where they had snacks and drinks.

Can someone tell us cleanly - when you first walk up, before you go through the security screening - is there a haven line for se3curity screening to bypass the maze?

Then - obviously AFTER security screening I presume there is someone standing there to take the Haven pax to the Haven lounge area - however good or bad it may be at that port  . . .

Every cruise I have taken there is a Haven line to the side to bypass the disney line in ADVANCE of the security screening - then you go through the airline detectors - THEN you get scooped up by the Haven line -

There is a difference between the advance screen before you get to the security screen - and there has not been a clear demarcation in this post of those breaks in the process. . . .

I've left out of LA many times and every time we have sailed in the Haven, we've walked up to the entrance tent, not the tent the initial line is winding in, and asked for the Haven. We were then shown to the Haven checkpoint in the entrance tent. There is a podium where they check your name off and then escort you to your own security screening.
