First iv'e spoken to maitre, second to guest relation, today we removed 50% of service charge. I will assume these " suggestion card" will help to solve. If not there are 50% left over to remove 😀

It's the very definition of an oxymoron! It should be called the Deflect Defer and Excuse desk. That's why I laugh when folks say you should of went to the desk with your complaint. 4
Rare MarkusToe Posted September 5 Author #29 Share Posted September 5 Yesterday for Dinner at Cagneys. Food perfect, Service good, 40 min wait for main a bit long. We assume there was something going wrong in the kitchen, as only a few tables where occupied. But all in all Dinner as is should be.

They try to make it a “luxurious” meal with lots of time between course. There is always a wait on the main even if you are the first order in the kitchen for the night. Nothing going wrong, that’s just the standard.

Rare cruiseny4life Posted September 11 #38 Share Posted September 11 Hey there, @MarkusToe! Question for you regarding Getaway. Is Shanghai Noodle Bar open on sea days for lunch? Have you noticed? Sorry for your troubles - I'm following closely as I'll be on Getaway in a few months (hopefully, for me, time enough that service can be better than you're receiving).

And the few exceptions where it is still pleasant are cruise lines which many of us simply can`t afford. 😉 well . . . NCL gives away MDR and other free food and lodging to the 3rd and 4th guests in most rooms - so the only $$$ they are making is off the FAS they charge those guests for . . .

IAcruising Posted Saturday at 01:04 AM #44 Share Posted Saturday at 01:04 AM We turned Platinum in April, and love NCL. But after cruising HAL in August, I'm going to wait a year or two for NCL to figure out what they're doing wrong.
