Hi. We are Elite with Celebrity , (not happy with all the changes) ,  Our  “kids” talked us into trying Princess after their great vacations .  Booked Sun Princess in Sanctuary. Great price and love it truly is all included.

Tips, suggestions, things to try…… welcome the info.  Belize and Roatan are ports we hit.

Thanks in advance and appreciate info

Suggest you look at both the roll call for your cruise and the ports forum .  Lots of opinions already posted for you.

We ported in Belize and Roatan this past May on the Enchanted Princess.

Roatan? We did the ultimate ziplining and nature walk, which was unforgettable!

Belize? Long tender to the pier, if you don't have an excursion booked, stay on the ship. We went ashore. Came back in a half hour later and drank an ice cold beer. I'm not a drinker. That's how hot it was.

For both Belize and Costa Maya, check the duration of bus travel for excursions, they are lengthy.

Shopping? Make St. Thomas or Puerto Rico your shopping ports, if you go to those.

We sailed Celebrity long ago. Don't think I'd like the changes either, but Princess has changed too. What you like and what your adult children like are potentially different.

I don't want to put anyone off but we visited Roatan and Belize last year. Didn't book any trips so can't comment on them. Just got the shuttle to shore at Belize went into one of the shops and got some rum and the wife got a fridge magnet. Think we were there around an hour then back to the ship. Neither of these locations we would bother with again. But then we aren't struck on the Caribbean either. Not keen on the heat and some of the islands make you feel less than comfortable walking about.
