mek Posted September 6 #1 Share Posted September 6 We're in Halifax until 8pm - looking for a great place to have lobster after our morning tour - I believe we get back to the ship around 1pm, so we have lots of time.
3CanadianBears Posted September 10 #2 Share Posted September 10 We've been to this restaurant twice, and will be back again for lunch later this month when our cruise stops in Halifax Home - Bicycle Thief. Located right on the Halifax waterfront/boardwalk. I've had the lobster roll - yummy! I know you asked specifically for lobster and perhaps others can provide recommendations, but in general, you can't go wrong with this restaurant.

It also had a very nice list of wines by the glass and local craft beers. Depending on what day you are in port, you may wish to consider making a reservation. We did not have one so could not get a table. We were able to eat at the bar after a short wait, however, and it was fine. (Actually, we had a lovely conversation with the bartender, so it was very fine.)
maryann ns Posted yesterday at 04:25 PM #4 Share Posted yesterday at 04:25 PM If you want fresh cooked lobster then also check out the Waterfront Warehouse or Saltys. They are both on the waterfront. BluenoseII would also be good and it is close to the waterfront. Walking map All of these would likely be less expensive than the Bicycle Thief and maybe less busy.
