I congratulated him on yet another fine job of backing into the berth and mooring. Is Tuvo the captain? I suspect he likes to show off by backing the ship into ports. On our last cruise he did this at Ocean Cay and the Dominican Republic.

Backing in is called ‘med mooring’ as it know in the Navy is very popular in the Mediterranean. with Ocean Cay you either back in, or you back out as the channel pretty much enjds just beyond the pier. We liked it as we lad a starboard side stateroom and a very nice view of the island from our balcony

We’re back on Celebrity for our next cruised and that will be followed by a 7-day family ‘celebration’ cruise on Symphony of the Seas (middle grandson graduating college) in June. Rumor has it you may be doing a Symphony cruise of your own? Edited 1 hour ago by DaKahuna
Rare DaKahuna Posted 1 hour ago Author #384 Share Posted 1 hour ago Our last dinner on board was as wonderful as the first but a much sadder occasion. Having to say ‘sayonara’ to all the wonderful staff that made these past two weeks so special. Edison started me off with a very familiar Chardonnay for our starters we both enjoyed the Caesar salad and I added the shrimp cocktail.. first time this cruise because i much prefer the horseradish based american cocktail sauce over the rose marie sauce served here but shrimp is shrimp! Four our mains, my DE again chose chicken over any of the red meat offerings someone had to uphold the carnivore tradition do i once again went with the ‘surf & turf’ (filet with shrimp) (yes, tonight the shrip came a little later) Rodin had stopped by earlier and Edison had already conveyed to him I was having the surf and turf, so he presented me with an absolutely delicious Australian Shiraz!! For dessert my DW had the Tiramisu and I had one scoop of banana and one scoop of lemon sorbet! Very refreshing. we then went down to the TSL to distribute some more white envelopes to deserving staff and to have a libation before handling the challenges of packing our bags!
