Filistine Posted Saturday at 04:12 PM #1 Share Posted Saturday at 04:12 PM Hi, how does one change booked Oceania booked Simply more shore excursions - we wish to cancel and re-book a different excursion. I may be having a senior moment but can't seem to find a method to do this on their website?

Mauibabes @mauibabes is correct. Cancellations cannot be done online so call O or have your TA make the necessary changes.
Filistine Posted Saturday at 04:31 PM Author #5 Share Posted Saturday at 04:31 PM Thanks @mauibabes - they really ought to make the process clear on line - even put something in the FAQs.
Baz-t Posted Saturday at 05:33 PM #6 Share Posted Saturday at 05:33 PM I have always found the Oceania office in the U.K. responds very quickly to a telephone request to change excursions.

Rare terrydtx Posted Sunday at 04:42 PM #9 Share Posted Sunday at 04:42 PM The Oceania website is very primitive compared to other lines. We have our first O cruise next March and we booked our excursions online, but a few days later we wanted to make a change on one tour and I found there is no way to cancel or change a shorex online. I had to call the Oceania office to cancel which took me over 30 minutes, when I asked why it couldn't be done online, I got no real response.

That's so frustrating - they need to invest in making both the website much more user friendly and I gather there's no mobile app either - which is really inexcusable nowadays for a company that is considered 'luxury'. They really need to up their game from a technology perspective.
SophieM Posted Tuesday at 03:37 PM #11 Share Posted Tuesday at 03:37 PM You can either ask your TA to take care of your request or call Oceania Guest Services at 1-800-531-5658.

I believe the point is why doesn't O make it a function to do online, instead of tying up a TA's or O's customer service person?

Thank you - I actually phoned them yesterday - had to wait 10 mins on line but once through the Cust service rep was very efficient. I had 4 changes which took less time than waiting for them to answer 😀
