On board Britannia at the mo and just discovered the Glass House menu has been drastically reduced! No more steaks or sliders just tapas. Such a shame as we loved the Glass House food on previous cruises.

Also had a meal in the Epicurean last night and it was a big disappointment. Some of the meal was cold and the servers were very unsure of themselves. Also no more flambé at the tables or Iberico cut at the table. The theatre in the meal has all but gone now. A real big shame.

That doesn't sound good. Any reasons given?

I think the problem with the Epicurean is the fact P&O can’t get the trained staff (or don’t want to pay for them). The Glass House is a different matter. We were on Ventura earlier in the year and there was a full menu available.

The Glass House menu has changed permanently across the fleet to a Tapas style menu as recently reported in the recent Moments magazine.

What a shame. The surf and turf, plus the Sea Bass (or is it Monkfish) and prawn curried broth, both of which are unique to the Glasshouse, were my two favourite meals on P&O ships and were always a welcome break from the increasingly dull MDR lunchtime menus.

It was the Beach House that disappointed us last year as it was a very spicy menu which left me with no choice all. Really disappointing. We booked for 2 nights and cancelled the 2nd visit.

There are still steaks on the new menu though
