Discounted Gift Cards Being Offered On Newegg

Regarding second purchase using spouse's account, we've been having similar difficulties to everyone else.

 

Tried different credit card, no dice. Tried VPN and different credit card, still no dice.

 

Got on the chat with a Newegg rep and was told the limit is "Per Household every 48 hours", not per person. I figure they're likely using the billing address for the credit card(s).

That is what I figured. I feel sorry for the people who are just roommates although there might not be that many of them and apparently it is ok with Newegg.

I don't know if this issue only applied to the single $200 GC purchase or all GC purchases, but when the 5-$500 cards were on sale, I successfully purchased 5 on my husbands existing Newegg account, and 5 on my newly formed account.  Different credit cards, same address.

We had the same experience but I think that's over now.
