Haines

We have been to Skagway twice, and am considering going to Haines on the ferry, anybody have any opinions on this, is Haines worth the trip. Thanks

Depends upon when you'll be there. I take my family to Haines once a year for the SouthEast Alaska State Fair and Music Festival - http://www.seakfair.org/

 

Otherwise it's a quaint little fishing villiage with only light to moderate tourist traffic. I remember getting sick on Pizza and Sundaes at Porcupine Pete's when I was a kid, but that's been 15 years ago...:D
