Search Engine Works

The search function was the one characteristic that helped make the decision to change board platforms. Not only is that function needed by members researching cruises and other matters, that function also keeps counts on # of posts, permits Administrative functions to work and to ensure that all maintenance is accomplished properly.

You saw how bad things could get with a malfunctioning search engine.

To make matters worse, because of that we were unable to move everything (in some cases nothing) for 6 of the Boards, including Holland America's boards.

The search engine on these new boards is very impressive !!!

Thanks to Laura and all the Moderators / Team at Cruise Critics for all their work in improving these boards for all the members.
