Princess' transfers London/Southampton?

Has anybody used them? Was it easy or is it better to do on your own?

I've never used the Princess transfers, but I can't see paying $75 to take a bus when you can book the trip either by bus or train for roughly $1.75 on your own.

Looks like you have to get on at Victoris Station and backtrack to heathrow to get the good "fun fare" + extra in travel time.

Would be good if you are in Central London and not in a hurry though
