dguiltinan Posted June 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2006 Our friend has a deposit on a radiance of the Seas stateroom for 3 people, but this may become 2 between now and when balance is due. If she reduces the number of passengers, will she still be able to retain the stateroom she is in?? We want her to be close to us, and would hate to see her switched somewhere else... Thanks for your help....
wrp96 Posted June 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2006 Yes, she will be able to retain the same stateroom.
Sheffie Posted June 2, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 2, 2006 Just an FYI, I have read on this board about people having to change due to someone else needing a 3 person cabin.
Merion_Mom Posted June 2, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 2, 2006 They will PROBABLY be ok in their cabin, but RC *may* switch them. It's somewhere in the cruise contract that they have the right to do this, but they don't invoke it very often.
cruisinfanatic Posted June 2, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 2, 2006 Yes, she will be able to retain the same stateroom. Not necessarily. RCL won't book 2 in a 3 person cabin. Not likely they'll be able to stay there unless the category has been opened up to doubles.

They will usually NOT make a change unless the ship is filled to capacity and they have to have the third person cabin, but she shoulkd be notifed first, ( I haev been called before to ask if I wil give up a cabin for several different reasons) however, when and if they call to make a change they will give cabin options so she can still choose something close to you (providing that is one of the choices, of course) She should be absolutely fine though. :):)
