Mercury-Dry Docking & or Refurbishment.

Does anyone know if any of the above is to be carried out before she sails for her season in Aus & NZ?

We have sailed twice previously '98 & 2000 on her and found everything perfect.Recent reports make for bad reading as we have booked Dec 2007 for a family event that i dont want spoilt.

Any information would be a help

There has been no official announcement from Celebrity of any changes however there is a hint in the recent statement that they will be doing the bedding in 2007. Don't believe anything until Celebrity makes an announcement, anything else is a rumor which from past experience have not been accurate.

I have an interest in this, as we are booked on the "Wine Cruise" on Mercury in November, 2007, from Vancouver to San Diego. Here's what I found using the Search function, searching for "Mercury drydock:"

It is unlikely anything will be done before 2008. From what I have been reading, it seems as if Galaxy and Millennium are going in for overhauls. Mercury and another ship or two will be going in in 2008.

I believe all the bedding will be replaced on all Celebrity ships prior to the fall sailing season. Galaxy's will be refurbished by August 2nd.
