Neptune Lounge - Hot Chocolate???

Trying to do a search without success. For you experienced HAL cruisers, is hot chocolate available at all times in the Neptune lounge on Alaska sailings? Or do you have to seek it elsewhere? Know someone has the answer.

Yes!! You can get unlimited hot chocolate anytime in the Neptune! On our first few days there was a bowl with "Cocoa Powder" on the side and a spoon - the very best hot chocolate mix we've ever had! Then, by day 4 or 5 they went to Nestle Packets - we are Nestle fans so this was fine with us too.

 

There is a hot water spicket on the coffee/ latte machine.

 

There was nothing better than coming in off our verandah and heading down to the Neptune for a hot chocolate and pastry (they change these out several times a day so the selection is always plentiful!).

if you dont have access to the neptune you can order hot choc from room service

Thanks for the info. It's nice to know that we'll have that option. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but last in Alaska, enjoyed the hot chocolate.

You can get hot chocolate on any cruise itinerary any time of the day in the Neptune Lounge. If you don't see the packets, ask the concierge for them.

The hot chocolate packages are also available at the lido. They are at the coffee and tea stand.

We could not get it out of the coffee machine - just out of the packets - but the machine will add a bit of frothed milk to the top of it should you like it that way!

Most of the time we have not been able to get hot chocolate out of the coffee machine in the Neptune Lounge - and we have been on quite a few ships. To be truthful - some of the machines need to be replaced.

Hot chocolate is also available 24 hours aday in the Lido at the coffee machines. It is in the form of a packet and hot water.
