New bedding (Merged)

Recommended Posts

Royal Caribbean's bedding schedule is on my site. Click on http://cruisereview.homestead.com/Voyager05.html and scroll to the bottom.

How did you find out this information? I read somewhere else that NOS isn't getting theirs until Aug - Nov.? I sure hope you are right because we sail NOS on July 29th. I hope our cabin has the new bedding by then. I sure like your schedule much better! lol

Hey I am on that cruise too, 8/25 for explorer of the seas. Now that we know we will be on during the middle of the roll out my next question is how are they doing that.

Any particular order like deck 10 down. Or, suite catagories on downward, or the other ways around?? Also would they change your stateroom bedding while your out of the room for the day, or only unbooked rooms. That would seem to make it hard doing unbooked rooms only. What happens if its a full ship??

Thank you for posting this. ;)

Am I supposed to see a page two? It says two pages, but I only get one.

Does anyone see the Empress?

The only thing on page two is the last column of the table....it was just a smidge too wide to go on a single page. However, You're right...the only ships I see beginning with E seem to be Explorer and Enchantment.

However there is a ship abbreviation NE that I don't see a corresponding ship for...didn't Empress used to be the Nordic Empress....if so, then she's due 10/28-11/9

Your very welcome. I think we have talked before on a posting. Seeing as how your call name is bride and groom, I can see where you would have a keen interest in the bedding.

Good luck to you for a happy marriage.

 Please tell how the new beds are? Also does anyone know if RCCL is replacing the sofa beds?

New Beds (or is it just new bedding?) = ahhhhhhhhhhhh! :)

New beds & bedding. No word on the sofa beds but I would assume same will be done. See post from C&A response. I previously posted on its on site. The new bedding they speak of is what is on the Freedom, which other posters said is no comparison to what they have now - and it will be bed bug free!

We sailed on the Carnival Legend last year and it was in the middle of their big bedding switch. According to postings, the Legend wasn't due to get the new bedding for a few months. Our sailing was delayed for almost an hour in NYC and we watched them loading new mattresses and bedding while we waited for sailaway. They must have switched out certain cabins on certain days because by the second day of the cruise, my parents had all the new bedding in their cabin, and we got ours about 2 days later. So the ships definitely don't need to go into drydock...they can do it while sailing and it seems that they can do it pretty quickly.

Thank you so much. It must be her. I can't believe they are still calling her the Nordic Empress after all this time. Well, on second thought, maybe I can believe that. :o

Cruisinfanatic -

Your post was great. I have a question about the chart for the new bedding. Do you know what the different colors signify? I'm booking my son's honeymoon on May7, 2007 and hope there will no surprise glitches. Too many arrangements already made.

Thanks for your help.

Chris
