Tahitian Princess Trip Report and Photos

One of our all-time favorite cruises was aboard the Tahitian Princess in French Polynesia. What makes this cruise so special is the water..... an outer reef protects the wide lagoons of most islands so it's like swimming in a huge tropical aquarium.

A highlight was Marc’s motu picnic tour on Huahine. I hate to seem like a blatant commercial for him, but this tour is not to be missed! The other most memorable experience was the introductory scuba dive on Bora Bora. My sister-in-law Judie almost scrubbed the dive while on the dive boat, but finally made the plunge. Afterwards she said she’d do it again in a minute, it was that fantastic. We booked this through Princess (Bora Diving Center). If it is full, you might try e-mailing them directly.

We went in June, 2004 during the cooler (80s), drier season. Of course, weather can be variable any time of the year.

Follow the link below for 155 captioned photos of our trip. It's been two years since our original post.... thought some people new to this board might be interested.

Too late to edit my original post!

Your photos are truly amazing - feel free to post more! I wish my cruise was this July!

I hope you don't mind that I've bookmarked this thread so that I can post questions here that may arise. I'm also going to share this thread with the roll-call board for my cruise, if they didn't discover it already!
