4th of July onboard ship? Boston? NYC?

Next year we'd like to book a cruise to be in either the Boston or NYC port on the 4th of July so we can sit on our balcony and watch the fireworks ... maybe even hear the music. I believe the Queen Mary 2 was in Boston last night but am not positive about that. Any ships in the NYC harbor at the new cruise terminal? All of the televised celebrations were spectacular!!!

July 4 is a Wednesday next year, so the Norweigian Magesty won't be in port (does the Boston/Bermuda run all summer).

Most ships don't overnight in domestic ports, so it's unlikely you'd find anything here in Boston next year unless there's special circumstances. I hadn't heard that the QM2 was in town yesterday
