aft cabins on Insignia

Just booked for 28th April on Insignia to the Med and managed to get an aft concierge cabin, no 8066. Has anyone stayed in one of these cabins and do they measure up to the aft cabins aboard the Celebrity M class. Was debating between this and a PH2 grade so all comments would be greatly appreciated so that it is not too late to change it. Really looking forward to trying Oceania as most of our other cruises have been on Celebrity, Cunard, HAL but feel that it is time for a change and to try the smaller ships.

Not Insigina, but we sailed Miami-Barcelona last March on the Regatta in cabin 6090.

The cabin was very nice, but the balcony was humongous. Take a look at the size of that balcony at www.juergen.smugmug.com under Trans Atlantic MAR 06.

If a good-size balcony is important to you, stay with your selection.

Ask4Jay,

Thanks for responding to CruzAdict's question, along with your photos.

My wife and I are in cabin 6090 on the March 11, 2007 sailing of the Ragatta.

Best Regards,

Hal

We were in 7116 on the Nautica. Cabin sizes are the same as other cabins, balcony is nice and deep, 6-7 feet. For us the really fun part was that most of us in the back were out on our bablconies during sailaways and we had some fun conversations between all of us. If you stand out at the edge, it's very easy to chat back and forth, if you want privacy you can just sit back a bit.
