Which side of the ship?

We are looking into booking a Princess cruise for next summer, going southbound. We will book two balcony cabins. Should we have them both on the same side (and which side) or should we book one on each side of the ship?

Thanks for all the help!

I would book on both sides. Princess has a lot of glass in their viewing areas, and it distracts from the glacier viewing. The best viewing is from your own balcony. This way you can shift side to side.

I too would book both sides, but disagree that the best glacier viewing is from balconies. The most extensive viewing is from the open decks at the front of the ship- seeing it ALL. :) I have mentioned before but my last Sun Princess trip 9-03 - the starboard side of the ship had NO views of the Grand Pacific or Margerie glacier in Glacier bay. The ship just made a starboard turn and LEFT.
