Hi,

I just read the thread about free parking at Miami cruiseport for the handicapped parker. I'm amazed that parking is free.

Does anyone know if there is free handicapped cruiseport parking at Bayonne, Cape Liberty NJ ? Philadelphia? I've never seen any indication of this on the internet sites.

Thanks alot,

Judy

Florida state law requires that free parking be maintained at cruise ship terminals only for those vehicles with ramps, lifts, hand controls or State of Florida toll exemption permits. So no, a placard is not enough.

I know of no other states that have this type of law.

Hi Candy,

Thanks for the explicit info! My husband has a left foot gas/brake pedal and a left hand only spinner knob. He can't use his right side to drive. Would this apply to him? Do you show someone your vehicle to prove disability?

Thanks,

Judy
