Is there a separate Elite Check-in Desk as well as Platinum?

at certain Embarkation Piers there are designated seperate Elite Checkins...in Barcelona there were 2 elite checkin's however they were not staffed????

 

In Other ports sometimes they amalgamate both Platinum and Elite together as a checkin.

I believe in Fort Lauderdale the Platinum, Elite and Suites are all together and have several windows open to check in at.

We did not see a separate Elite check in in Los Angeles.

And in some ports (Sydney) they don't have a separate Platinum desk at all (nor Elite).

Platinum, suites & Elite all had the same checkin line in May. There were several stations available.

I didnot see a separate desk for "Elite". It was with the Platinum Members in Ft. Lauderdale when We sailed the Caribbean Princess in Feb.
