JPH814 Posted September 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2006 We are on the Zenith in June to celebrate the - hopeful - graduations of my son and daughter from grad schools. I see on the Celebrity web site a notice sugesting that the cruise line be notified of events being celebrated - specifically graduations. Does anyone know what is done for the graduates and or their traveling parties? Has anyone done this with Celebrity?
espmass Posted September 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2006 The most I have ever seen the ship provide is a cake and a song at dinner. princess puts a sign on the door and tacks on a small bunch of baloons. I suppose Celebrity might do that if requested.
hajekfam Posted September 15, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2006 Celebrity used to sell a room decoration celebration package but I noticed that it was no longer listed. The cake at dinner is a chocolate cake. You can order a specialty cake decorated in your choice of flavors from their bon voyage selections at an additional cost. jerseygirl3 Posted September 22, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 22, 2006 Each time one of our four sons graduates from college, we take them all on a cruise to celebrate getting another one off our payroll. But these kids are getting smarter; they're going to grad school to eek out a few more cruises!
