Galaxy Balcony cabins

We've been looking forward to our inside cabin for Celebrity Galaxy Transatlantic cruise, but today we got an e-mail from a different travel agency telling us about a sale where Celebrity is charging the same price for Ocean view and Balcony cabins. We checked with Celebrity web site and our travel agent and upgraded to a balcony guarantee for $239 more for the cruise. I checked and found out that all the Balcony cabins on the Galaxy are on the Vista deck. I was wondering if anyone knew if there are any undesireable Balcony cabins there? Why would they sell Balcony guarantee for cheaper than some Ocean view cabins now that the Inside cabins are sold out. Does anyone have any experience with Galaxy Balcony cabins?

I think you are in good shape. All of the balcony cabins on the Vista Deck are pretty much the same and are all relatively mid-ship. We got a similar deal in 2001 (pre-9/11) where we got our Infinity FV balcony cabin for the price of the cheapest outside cabin. The total cost for all 4 of us was less than what it will cost just one of us for next year's Europe cruise in an FV cabin.

My parents went with us on our Mercury cruise (Galaxy's sister), they had a balcony cabin on Deck 10 and loved it.
