Is the Oostedam still using tenders in Puerto Vallarta?

You're welcome! DH and I are looking forward to our return to the Oosterdam in December so it will be interesting to see if anything has changed besides the upgrades on the ship itself!

The latest prevailing rumor is that Oosterdam will begin using the new pier at Puerto Vallarta right around Christmas.

I'm sure that will be good news for a lot of travelers who can't use tender service. Thanks for the update!

Thanks Bruce, that is good news. Of course I will miss the interesting way we would tendor and have to walk thru an older boat to get on the dock because the water level was too low:D One has to experience this to understand, it just adds to the charm of P.V.:)

Oh yeah, I remember that.....at first I hesitated because I thought they were directing me toward a tour boat. LOL

We saw them working on the new pier when we were in PV last year (3rd pier). They were really working hard to get it done.
