Sail Away for Both Zaandam and Oosterdam

Well, it is almost 5 pm here on the West Coast. It looks great in SD. I wonder which ship will leave first. I will be trying to capture the pictures of both leaving here.

They both looked to be tied up , but it will not be long now before they are on their way:)

What a beautiful day for a double departure! Sure wish we were on board now too! Just thrilled to be able to watch the ships from San Diego again:)

Lisa, so I guess you couldn't see the wave? I thought I had the webcam working just before we went out at 5:50 (2:50 your time). It said it was a "live" shot, but we had to leave.

 

Love to be there meeting everyone. After all this time planning, it has to be such fun for them all to meet.

No, Unfortunately, I was not able to capture as good of pictures like I have done in the past. Too many people trying to access the web cam:o

Plus I do not think they stayed out there that long. When we were there in Feb. we stayed out there for a full 30 minutes.

Heather, No I don't know where they will be but the web site is very slow now. Too many accessing it.

The position of the sun this time of year doesn't help either! Still, a beautiful site!

With the sun shining into the web cam it makes for bad pictures. It may be hard to see really well. Plus it is sooooo slow:(

It was indeed a gorgeous day here in San Diego (again) and I agree that it is thrilling to see the HAL ships back in port for the season.I'm on countdown now since I board the Zaandam once those DamSpammers return. Gee I hope that they leave the ship in fairly good shape: we all know what a party-loving bunch they are.Valerie

When we leave in December it will be dark at sail away:eek: . I am watching on the "just watch" mode which is moving faster than the "control camera".

Web cam slow? I thought it was my connection. I'm still on dial-up. (Yea,I know, I'm hoping to get off dial up soon, but I would rather spend my money cruising.)
