Zuider standard outside rooms question

On the Zuiderdam, do the windows on the outside rooms open? The picture makes it look like a sliding window - is this correct?

Thanks - First time cruiser

You may be looking at the picture for a balcony cabin. HAL's picture shows a standard window:

There are excellent 360deg views of Zuiderdam here:

Welcome to the CC board, and have a great first cruise.:)

Perhaps you are looking at Upper Promenade Deck which has floor to ceiling windows which are the same size as sliding doors. These do not open and most of these cabins have obstructed views.

On Main Deck, the cabins have normal outside windows and have no obstructions.
