would this dress work for formal night...

We are going on the RCCL in Jan. to the eastern Caribbean.I found this dress online,what do you think?It comes just below the knees.

I have to say I think a simple necklace would look lovely.

(Just my opinion)...example, a circle pendant without too

much glitz to it.

My neck would feel too naked without something on it.

 

But I do agree about the earrings:) definitely! My ears would

feel naked without them as well;)

I right-clicked on the photo and it shows it came from Newport News. So, that would be my guess;)

What a beautiful dress! I like very simple things and would probably wear it with earrings, no necklace. The beading on the dress is just right.

I like the dress but I will say Newport's quality is not very good-anything I have ever bought from them was no good once I washed it- I have never bought formal wear from them though- I am sure though- if you only plan to wear it once you should be okay.

That dress speaks 1,000 words so let it speak!! Don't overdo it with jewelry. Forget a necklace--to much w/halter. Small diamond/cubic z studs will be perfect! The focus should be on the dress!! Good choice.:)

Personally, I think a delicate necklace (diamond on a thin chain perhaps) might look quite nice. If it were me, I would try it on as well and see what I was most happy wearing.
