Hotel to Ship

We are leaving on the Millie from Venus in October and I was wondering if anyone has stayed at the Europa Regina and traveled from the hotel to the shipyards. What is the best way and what is the approximate cost?

We will be doing what you want in reverse when our ship docks in Venice after our cruise. Our hotel is not far from yours - the Metropole - and we will be catching a water taxi. We have always used them when we have luggage in Venice. They are not cheap and we are expecting to pay around 80Euros. It may be less or a little more. We will also be catching a water taxi from the hotel to the airport at the end of our stay.

If you check down the board there are several long threads with Venice in the topic that talk about getting around Venice with luggage. They go into a lot of details of your options. The water taxi one is the most expensive but also the most convenient.
