Stingrays at Nassua or HMC

Hi All,

 

Doing the Carnival Elation 5 day cruise in February 3,2007 and wondering which Stingray excursion is better - The Stingray Encounter on Half Moon Cay or the Blackbeard offering on Nassau. We want to do one of them but can't decide which one. We don't care about the snorkeling available - neither of us snorkle. Both claim to be 'wade outs' .DH HATES water, the only reason he's agreed to do it is because I'm paying for it and it's my 50th b-day. I've been leaning towards the one on Nassau but really need some input from anyone that has gone on either excursion.

We did Blackbeard's Cay stingray excursion in September. If you email me, I will send you some pictures (suzybruner@aol.com).

 

We saw the stingray pen at HMC, and the one at Blackbeard's is bigger. There is no deep water at all at HMC either, the pen is in the lagoon, which is very shallow.

 

We loved the beach and the stingrays at Blackbeard's! Not crowded at all either.
