cruiseluv Posted December 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 3, 2006 Hi, Can somebody tell me if Oceania will give you a credit if you do not want to use their "free air"? If so, how much is it for example for a European cruise? For a SA cruise? I have looked in their website to see if that info is there but I don't see it. Thanks! PurpleCow Posted December 3, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2006 The credit depends on both your gateway city and your cruise itinerary. Your travel agent should be able to tell you the amount in your case.
cruiseluv Posted December 3, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted December 3, 2006 Thanks, It's odd that it varies as the price with air included does not vary with your gateway city.

Bulabula Posted December 5, 2006 #6 Share Posted December 5, 2006 I believe the standard air credit is $700 per person. There is then an "add-on", depending on your gateway city. The "free" air program is greatly misleading as you need to add air taxes, fuel charges and fees for the flights in excess of up to $400. I have had a wonderful time explaining to my group going on 5/5/07 Nautica why "free air" is not free air.
PurpleCow Posted December 6, 2006 #7 Share Posted December 6, 2006 Our air credit for the 1/28/07 LA>Miami cruise was $250 pp. Our Air credit for the 4/10/08 cruise is $850 pp.
