Can someone answer these simple questions?

1. What should I expect to pay for cab fare for 2 people to go round trip to and from Tabyana Beach?

2. Does it cost anything to get on the beach?

3. Do the beach chairs cost anything to sit? How much?

4. What is the rental cost of the snorkeling equipment on Tabyana?

Thank you!!

We paid $20pp roundtrip to West Bay Beach and swam/walked to the reef at Tabyana.

We paid $10 for mask and fins (one set) ours broke

Chairs were for rent (sorry we were in the water the whole time)

There is a fee for Tabyana and it is very crowded. It also is the ship's excursion beach. Better to be more "up beach" IMO

Facilities and drinks/food are all along the beach.

Hopefully, someone who went to Tabyana will answer about prices.

The snorkeling at the reef was fantastic - best ever. The reef, with the many corals and "veins" was amazing, not to mention the abundance of different (and large) fish. Make sure you go out far enough to truly experience the reef.

We didn't zip-line in Roatan, but shared a cab with someone who did. They enjoyed it. I highly recommend doing it somewhere - we've done it in Costa Rica

You may come out better by seeing how much it is through the ship. I think we paid $40 pp when we went for shuttle to beach, admission and lunch through Norwegian. It's still my favorite beach in the Caribbean. I liked it better than Megans Bay in St. Thomas.

That's true, the ships' excursions for this beach are very reasonable. Our ship had it at $30 pp. I wanted the freedom of hopping in a cab instead of waiting for a bus to fill up, and I wasn't sure how much time the excursion would allow us. Usually we make better time on our own.

Most people are more comfortable with the security of a ship's tour.

Norwegian prices are now between $54 - $59 pp for Tabyana in 2007.
