Street Cars

I will be in NOLA in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone knows if any of the street cars are up and running yet? Is there a website out there that his this info?

There's an article on the cars and info on the website there! I know that the cars are running along the riverfront and canal...it will be another year before the garden district is back up and running (st charles st)

Riverfront is running Esplanade - Thalia

St. Charles is running a circle Canal St - St. Charles St - Baronne - Carondelet

Canal Street is running Esplanade - City Park

Steamboats has the information, but I thought I'd add (in case you don't know street names) that the St. Charles line is NOT running to the Garden District (like it usually does). It only goes from Canal to Lee Circle.

Can't wait to go and now knowing that we can ride the streetcars around and see even more just makes me even more excited!!!:p

We will be there 1.25.07 through 1.27.07 so I think we will be missing the parades. Nice, cause we are going to be missing the crowds, but it would have been neat seeing a parade.

Is it Practical to take the Riverfront Streetcar to the Julia St Cruise Terminal ?

 

Does the Riverfront Streetcar stop in front of the Julia St. Cruise Terminal ?

 

We will have a couple of suitcases each for the cruise.

 

Are there any issues with taking the streetcar?
